Wheelies and Waves has two rental locations to serve you better: Crested Butte and Gunnison.  The local owners and employees of Wheelies and Waves are all general outdoor enthusiasts and adventure seekers. We bring our first-hand knowledge about the sport, equipment and local access to you in a welcoming and friendly environment.

Gunnison

The last true Colorado mountain town. We love having our little Adventure Headquarters in Gunnison. Heading to the Blue Mesa or looking to explore Gunnison via Electric bike? Stop by our Gunnison location at 110 S Main St directly next to The Gunnison Arts Center for everything you need for the perfect Colorado day. We have Paddleboards, Kayaks, Float Tubes, and Electric Bikes all for rent as well as skateboard and skate accessories for sale. We carry all the necessities and products we love to use while we explore. Come say hello and grab a Wheelies and Waves hat or shirt to remind yourself to get outside!

Crested Butte

The Wheelies and Waves shop is located next to Scout’s General Store at 509 Elk Avenue in Crested Butte, CO. It is a dream come true to have a space in Crested Butte to share our gear with you. We maintain one of the largest watersports demo fleets in Colorado. From new paddles and boards to all your accessories like leashes and straps, Wheelies and Waves has all your outdoor adventure needs. Come see the shop and say hello anytime between 9-6pm daily from May to September.
